“Ace has his CDX Obedience title as of March 2009, his Canadian show championship title in Feb 2009 and a couple of points towards field championships in the US and Canada. 10 points are required for field championships in both Canada and the US and some points can be obtained before a dog is fully “broke” in what are known as puppy and derby dog stakes. Ace has points for wins in these stakes, where he was judged against dogs of similar age for his hunting ability (essentially his ability to find game birds). We hope to run him as a broke dog this fall and will campaign him next spring 2009.”
